Why I Create & Who I Create For
Being a designer means using creativity to help people and brands tell their stories, connect with others, and feel seen. For me, it also means proudly representing my Latina community through bold color, culture, and visual storytelling, creating work that celebrates where I come from while opening space for more voices and perspectives to shine.

A Miami-Based Latina Illustrator, Designer & Color Lover
I’m Indira
A Cuban-American illustrator, lettering artist, and brand designer based in sunny Miami, and the creative behind IndySign. I make bold, colorful work for brand campaigns, packaging, products, visual identities, art licensing, and live creative experiences, always with plenty of personality and corazón.
My work is inspired by my Latin and Caribbean heritage, the energy of Miami, everyday moments of joy, and my lifelong love of color, lettering, and storytelling. I love turning ideas into visual worlds that feel expressive, meaningful, and impossible to ignore.
Along the way, I’ve created illustrations for brands including Nike, Erin Condren, SHEIN, and Univision, with work spanning lifestyle, fashion, retail, media, and consumer products. Whether I’m building an illustrated campaign, creating a brand from scratch, or hand-lettering something that makes people smile, my goal is always the same: to create work that feels joyful, authentic, and unmistakably me.
