About Indira

Indira Prieto is a Cuban-American brand designer, illustrator, and lettering artist based in Miami, and the creative force behind IndySign. She specializes in branding, illustration, and live calligraphy for thoughtful, story-driven brands. Inspired by her Latin heritage, she brings together vibrant colors, expressive lettering, and soulful details to create art rooted in culture, community, and storytelling. Her work celebrates identity with rhythm, intention, and joy, building meaningful connections through both design and narrative.

 

Her illustrations have been licensed by Erin Condren, SHEIN, Denim INK and Univision, expanding her reach across lifestyle, fashion, and media. Whether sketching in her studio, exploring new ideas, or sharing affirmations through her lettering, Indira approaches every project with authenticity, creativity, and corazón; using art as her language of celebration.

She's a member of Illustrators For Hire, a curated group of professional freelancers from around the world.

Working with IndySign is joy, she captures and transmits exactly what we need, the philosophy behind our brand and freshness we needed to project with both 2D illustrations and apparel. As a designer she brings that extra sensitivity that is so often missed in the talent hiring market, she also brings flexibility and passion to each project we have engage her with for Rico Kitchen and Rico Box!
